Quiet Training Ball Tutorial

You have the ball. Now learn how to train with it.

Clean reps, quiet control, no wasted motion. Watch the tutorial, then get your first five minutes done.

Keep the ball low, keep your shoulders relaxed, and make every bounce hit the same pocket. If the ball gets loud or wild, slow down. Good handlers own the simple reps.

Coach check

  • Find a small safe space where you can move your feet without reaching.
  • Start at half speed until every bounce is under control.
  • Keep your eyes up between reps so the handle transfers to real basketball.
  • Stop chasing speed. Earn speed with balance and rhythm.

Run the session

Three steps, five minutes.

1

Set your stance

Feet just outside your hips, knees bent, chest up. You should feel ready to move, not stuck in place.

2

Own the bounce

Use fingertips, not your palm. Keep the ball below your knee until the bounce lands in the same spot twice.

3

Finish five minutes

Run the warmup without drifting around the room. Tight space, tight handle, clean finish.

The trainer's standard

Control first. Speed follows.

One clean rep is worth more than ten rushed ones. Stay low, keep your eyes up, and finish the work.
